What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in the body — that restore volume, smooth deep folds, and enhance facial contours. Unlike neuromodulators that relax muscles, fillers physically add structure and fullness to targeted areas. Results are immediate and can last anywhere from 6 to 18 months depending on the product and placement.

What to Expect

Consultation
Melissa conducts a detailed facial assessment to understand your anatomy, concerns, and goals. She will recommend specific products and placement strategies tailored to you — never a one-size-fits-all approach.

Treatment
Filler is injected using fine needles or blunt-tip cannulas depending on the area. Most products contain lidocaine for added comfort. Appointments typically take 30–60 minutes.

Recovery
Some swelling, bruising, and tenderness is normal and typically resolves within 5–7 days. Avoid blood thinners, alcohol, and strenuous activity for 24 hours before and after treatment.

Results
Results are visible immediately, with final results settling at 2 weeks once any swelling subsides. A follow-up appointment is included to assess your outcome and address any touch-up needs.
